Toyota and Asian American chefs bring the gift of food to older adults

Toyota teamed up with three notable Asian American chefs to prepare meals for older adults and essential workers in community centers around the U.S. Recipe for Change is an editorial series hosted by filmmaker Eddie Huang and featuring chefs Nicole Ponseca, Mayly Tao and Dennis Lee. In one episode, Tao tells the origin story of her family business DK’s Donuts, a Los-Angeles based restaurant opened by her great uncle. Recipe for Change is part of the Make Noise Today platform, which tells stories about all aspects of the Asian American community.
