Total Media has added £1m to its annual billings after
picking up four contracts on top of the £2m Nickelodeon win it
announced last week.
The agency has landed the planning and buying business for Farlows of
Pall Mall, which manufactures shooting and fishing clothing. It has also
bagged Pavins - the London-based jeweller; Ronson International - the
lighters and "smokers' requisites" distributor; and 7.24 Solutions - a
global technology firm that provides technical support for mobile-phone
banking.
Lucy Glozier, senior account manager, will head the Farlows contract;
account director Annie Lambert has been placed in charge of the Pravins
business; and account director Nick Hammond will oversee media for
Ronson and 7.24 Solutions.
7.24 is set to launch a Europe-wide ad campaign in early August,
focusing on the business press and mobile communications magazines. It
will run ad campaigns across six or seven countries, including the
UK.
The Ronson campaign will also kick off soon. Total Media will target
young, upmarket style leaders, via "cutting-edge" style magazines. It
will run a nationwide push with a slight London bias.
Guy Sellers, Total Media managing director, said: "All these wins can be
characterised as launch or relaunch accounts, which reinforces our
position as a launch-specialist agency."
Last week, Total Media announced it had been appointed to handle the
£1m autumn campaign for Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon's annual spend is
likely to be around £2m.
