Total Media and Classic FM are teaming up in a £200,000
promotion for Minette Walters' new book, Acid Row.
Total Media planned and bought the six-week radio campaign for Pan
Macmillan, the publishing company.
The activity will include 30- and ten-second ads, as well as a week-long
on-air competition. The competition, which will be featured on the
station's drivetime show, will offer listeners a prize of a book a week
for a year.
Callers will be asked a question based on Minette Walters' novels. The
daily winners will be entered into a star prize draw, where they will be
given the chance to win a lifetime supply of Pan Macmillan books.
Pan Macmillan marketing manager Caroline Turner said: "We have spent a
lot of time researching Minette Walters' readership and the profile fits
Classic FM's audience perfectly."
