Top Gear in executive reshuffle

LONDON - BBC-owned Top Gear magazine has promoted two of its senior team to new roles as part of a restructure at the magazine.

Publishing director Adam Waddell has been promoted to the new role of managing director, where he will oversee the brand's various revenue streams as well as managing international sales of Top Gear's TV programme.

His previous role of publishing director has been taken by Simon Carrington, who has been promoted from marketing manager to the new role of associate publisher.
Carrtington's duties will be partly overseen by marketing executive Oliver Grundy.

Top Gear's circulation of actively purchased copies increased year on year by 4.4% to 173,449, according to the latest Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) figures released last week.
