
The news that videogame clothing brand Insert Coin will open a Pokémon-themed pop-up shop at London's Old Truman Brewery on 25 August was our most-read experiential story this week.
The shop will be open for five days until 30 August, and will showcase Insert Coin's new Pokémon-themed line of clothing as well as some Pokémon memorabilia collected from across the brand’s 20-year history.
The collection will feature fan favorites such as Magikarp, Snorlax, Jigglypuff and Charmander and of course Pikachu, who will make a live appearance at the event.

The tech brand has partnered with the Scottish rock band to create the UK’s first immersive music video using VR technology.
The experience is being led by agency Iris Worldwide, and will be housed inside a three-and-a-half storey temporary structure named the 'Hypercube'. Once inside, up to 50 festival-goers at a time will be able to use the Samsung Gear VR headset to join the band for a pyrotechnics and laser lighting show complementing their latest track, Flammable.
It will visit Boardmasters from 10-14 August, followed by Glasgow Summer Sessions on 26-27 August and Bestival from 8-11 September.
Razor brand Gillette opened a pop-up in Shoreditch, London on Tuesday (9 August) allowing visitors to design and print customised razor handles using 3D printers on site.
The 'RZR MKR' experience runs until Sunday (14 August) and is being held in collaboration with 3D printing cafe MakersCafe at Unit 26 at Boxpark. Visitors to the cafe can design and print their own razor handles, which will then be shipped to them for £10.
Supermarket chain Waitrose revealed it will launch its first ever consumer drinks festival at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in London earlier this week.
Taking place from 16-17 September, the event will give guests the chance to sample the best food and drink available to buy at Waitrose and already has brands including Heineken, Sipsmith and Meantime signed up to take part.
The festival will include masterclasses, workshops, themed rooms and a rooftop area with bars hosted by Goose Island Vodka, Codorniu Cavas and Mirabeau.
