Thorpe Park unleashed two creepy ‘living dolls’ onto the streets of London last week in order to promote its upcoming Derren Brown attraction. The dolls, likened to the Grady sisters in horror film The Shining, wandered the streets, taking in the sights of the capital and handing out cryptic clues to the public.
The retailer has been taking to the streets with a winter lodge roadshow to showcase its key Christmas lines. Asda’s apres ski lodge features vintage skis, sledges, Christmas trees and lights, with samples of its seasonal hero products available to taste and try.
Last Friday saw Carlsberg instal a beer dispensing Christmas tree on the South Bank. Passers-by were able to pour themselves a complimentary beer, while the first 100 people to visit the tree were invited to pick a glass ‘beerble’ from the installation, which they could pour their drink into.
