
Comedy Central UK released an extra batch of tickets to its FriendsFest event, which is running from 16-20 September, at 1pm on Thursday (27 August). The tickets sold out within half an hour, and fans of the show took to Twitter to air their dismay.
Key to the experience will be a replica of Monica's apartment, meanwhile visitors will also be able to view an exhibition of Friends props and memorabilia.
At V Festival on 22-23 August, Coca-Cola encouraged visitors to take selfies to receive a free can of its beverage varieties and Sure hosted a mini salon, meanwhile there were giveaways from PG Tips and Pringles, which also hosted a karaoke stage.
STA Travel announced it will unveil its first-ever pop-up hostel experience at Bestival in September, and the brand is offering two people the chance to stay. The hostel will feature live music, yoga sessions, a welcome party and even breakfast.
A team of six cyclists on a tandem bicycle rode around London delivering free Cadbury chocolate to people waiting in lines across the city. The cyclists gave out a range of the brand’s sweet offerings, including Twirl, Wispa and Dairy Milk. People were encouraged to tweet Cadbury with the hashtag #joycycle.
The beer brand announced a further five coin hunts as part of its Rugby World Cup experience. The winners will receive an opening coin toss experience, a behind-the-scenes stadium tour, hospitality and more. New Zealand player Jonah Lomu is the face of the second coin hunt.
