Heineken, Big Brother, The Libertines, Airbnb and Jamie Oliver all feature in the most read stories of the past seven days.

Heineken challenged rugby fans to search for a prized 1991 coin and tweet a photo of it with the hashtag #ItsYourCall to the brand's @HeinekenUK Twitter handle. One winner selected from a prize draw will receive a Rugby World Cup prize package, including VIP tickets to the England-Fiji opening match, a tour of Twickenham stadium, and the prized coin as a memento.

The Big Brother Live experience is set to launch in October

On Thursday (20 August) Big Brother announced plans to open its doors for events in October. Visitors can choose between four exclusively designed experience packages for parties, private functions and team-building exercises. Visitors can participate in classic Big Brother-style challenges, including recreating music videos, completing assault courses, and secret challenges.

Rock band The Libertines will promote their new album, Anthems for Doomed Youth, at The Dublin Castle in Camden from 31 August to 4 September. The event will feature photography sessions, documentary screenings, a pub quiz and previews from the album. Look out for an undisclosed ‘very special event’ on the final day when the album launches.

On Tuesday (18 August) Airbnb threw a secret event in one of its listed spaces in Leith, Edinburgh. Airbnb hosts who provided accommodation for the festival and their guests were invited to an evening of entrainment from the likes of cabaret act Ali McGregor, pop music comedy duo Die Roten Punkte and comedian Lynn Ruth Miller.

Renault, Laurent-Perrier and Birra Moretti will be activating at Jamie's Oliver fifth Big Feastival event from 28-30 August. Renault will provide a free shuttle service in its electronic Twizy vehicles. The festival’s VIP Lounge, courtesy of Laurent-Perrier, will include a private bar, garden and complimentary glass of champagne on arrival, meanwhile lager brand Birra Moretti will devise two spaces, each with a different atmosphere, in which to enjoy its beverages.
