The Midlands-based company’s financial figures show that profits also doubled from £356k to £713k.
Managing director of operations Richard Bridge told Event the increases were the result of Top Banana’s focus on leadership and management events: "There’s a real need for businesses to focus their teams to be more on board with strategy," he said. "Because we’re specifically focused on that area, we’ve won quite a lot of new business as a result."
He added: "I also think the current climate is asking people to shop around a bit more. Because we’re not London-based we don’t have massive overheads, so it’s a mixture of having one specialism plus a reasonable price."
The company took on five new staff last year and counts Barcadi and Wilkinsons among its clients.
