The plans form part of the strategy by TLRC's new owner UKRD to operate a regionally based structure. The affected staff are understood to be in a consultation period.
TLRC employs about 200 people in the UK and those affected by the closure of the head office are understood to work in finance, airtime control, human resources and on the firm's websites.
In June, Media Week revealed TLRC was to close its High Wycombe station Mix 107, while in May, radio company UKRD took control of TLRC after a takeover battle with TLRC chairman Anthony Gumbiner. Since then, chief executive William Rogers has made three managerial sales roles redundant and sold four stations, as well as closing Mix 107.
UKRD took full responsibility for TLRC last month, with a new executive team that includes Roger Humm, group finance director, Phil Angell, group programme director, and James Wenger, chief technology officer. The restructure will not be complete for a further two to three weeks, while up to three more stations may be sold.
