Times Media makes Crow head of sales

Times Media has made a high- profile move by appointing former OPera press buyer Adam Crow to its newly created role of head of client sales.

The publisher has also made James Roles head of commercial strategy.

Crow, who has more than 20 years experience in media, will report to development director Claire Myerscough.

"The attention we have to give to clients is growing because the market is fragmenting and there are so many demands on their time," Myerscough said.

"We always had client category specialists, but never a leader specifically dedicated to overall communications between Times Media and clients and what they need to hear from us."

Crow will work across Times Media, including print and digital, and will help the company take a more strategic approach to clients.

Crow has most recently been working as a consultant to MediaCom's digital division. Previously he was investment director at Omnicom pooled buying giant OPera and before that press director at PHD.

Meanwhile, Roles, who was previously head of brand marketing at the company, will be responsible for setting and implementing the commercial strategy for Times Media.
