Time Life has awarded its pan-European media planning and buying
account to direct-response specialist All Response Media (ARM).
ARM currently handles the bulk of the UK account for the mail-order
advertiser, which manufactures music CDs and tapes.
But ARM, run by managing director Tony Daniel, has now been briefed to
launch its range of music products in Denmark, with a European launch
expected to follow.
Carl Phillipson, senior account manager at ARM, is in charge of the
account and has started buying airtime on the national Dutch TV
channels.
ARM is also on the lookout for a direct-response TV account manager to
join the agency after a series of wins, including the recent
consolidation of the Claims Direct personal compensation media brief
into the agency (Media Business, July 16).
In addition, ARM has just announced a series of appointments and
promotions, the most recent of which is Amanda Robinson, who has joined
as an account executive in charge of the non-TV planning and buying.
The media team now consists of Phillipson, Robinson, media director
Merrick Page, media manager Dan Grossman, account manager Elton
Thrussell and media analyst Paul Chase
ARM, which handles the accounts for direct-response advertisers such as
TV Media, mobile ringtone company Mctones, and Dial4aloan, has recently
jumped from 31st to 28th place in the ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 list of top billing
agencies.
