The magazine took information from various sources to determine the top ten most influential black product endorsers.
Eight among the top ten were sports celebrities. They were, in order, Woods, Venus Williams, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Serena Williams, boxer George Forman actor James Earl Jones and radio talk show host Tom Joyner.
In a separate survey of its readers, basketball hero Michael Jordan was the most credible in the eyes of consumers. He was followed by Oscar winner Halle Berry.
Black Enterprise is a monthly founded in 1970 with a claimed readership of four million.
