Todd refused to reveal whether he had another job to go to. He joined the company from Colt Telecom, where he spent seven years.
Todd's successor will report to executive director of sales and marketing Jim Reid, who sits on the board of Thus, and will be responsible for developing campaign strategies and identifying key markets for its range of products and services. The bulk of its advertising is handled by 999 Communications .
Thus competes with BT for business customers for its telecoms and internet infrastructure. It also owns internet service provider Demon.
Unlike its competitors Energis and Colt, Thus claims to be financially secure having agreed in principle for Scottish Power to exchange its current loan to increase its stake in Thus.
