Rekorderlig's Winter Lodge, South Bank
Cider brand Rekorderlig brought its winter lodge back to London's South Bank this year, where it will remain open until 22 January. The two-storey structure has been built to resemble a typical Scandinavian house, and features both indoor and outdoor spaces. The indoor space is kitted out with traditional wooden decor, fairy lights and cream carpets, with cushions allowing guests to sit comfortably on the floor. The outdoor space features seats surrounding fires to keep guests warm. The bar serves a range of both hot and cold drinks, including spiced plum cider.
Oslo, Hackney
The clue really is in the name with this venue. Oslo is a bar, kitchen and music venue situated in the heart of Hackney which draws on Nordic aesthetic, with several spaces available for private hire. From 5 - 11 December, the venue will be hosting a 'Cider and Balls' festival to celebrate Scandinavia's most popular exports. The festival will showcase boutique cider brands and new flavours alongside a specially designed meatball menu. Guests will enjoy three styles of meatballs, accompanied by two sides and a selection of four ciders from across Sweden and Norway.
Nordic Bar, Soho
Nordic Bar in Soho serves Scandinavian beers, wines and cocktails in its classic Scandi-designed interior. Food on offer includes traditional Swedish meatballs and Smorgasbord platters. The venue is available for both private and corporate events, as well as product launches and film screenings. The venue also invites guests to try out its bottomless Sunday brunch, served from 12pm.
