The Cookhouse, Borough Market London

Located near London Bridge train station, the open plan kitchen is located above Borough Market, London's oldest food market. The light, modern space offers a high spec kitchen with a table for 10 diners. It’s ideal for small intimate experiences such as chef’s table dinners, cookery masterclasses, tastings and filming. Earlier this month, Event invited industry professionals to the venue to judge the award for caterer of the year for the upcoming .

Cinnamon Soho

The casual modern Indian restaurant from Vivek Singh is undergoing a refurbishment and will re-open 29 September. The space will be subtly rennovated using recycled and upcycled materials. Expect Indian vendor carts, vibrant hand-painted walls, industrial bar stools, mismatched architectural chairs and rustic troughs and plants to create a laid-back feel.

The restaurant can be hired for events, too. Upstairs can seat groups of up to 20 people and features a cocktail bar. Downstairs can cater for around 35 guests. The entire restaurant can be hired for events for 150 people.

The Islington Townhouse

Located around the corner from the iconic Chapel Market in Angel, this new light and spacious venue from Hippo Inns features three floors, including a snug, open bar area and upstairs dining area available for hire for up to 26 covers.

Foodies will enjoy the diversity of this food menu that signals a new era for pub food. Highlights include twice-baked Gruyère soufflé, octopus carpaccio, monkfish kebab, 35-day aged steak tartare and burnt sugarplums with marshmallow crumble.
