Loving or hating it will be the difference between paying and not paying at the pop-up Marmite café next weekend. Open for two days on 4 and 5 August, the condiment has teamed up with London café Soho Grind, with customers judged as to whether they are a ‘lover’ or a ‘hater’ based on their online sentiment.

A silent disco is to be held at Wilton’s Music Hall in London next Wednesday, thanks to a collaboration between Sony Mobile and Time Out magazine. Guests will receive their own headphones and a choice of three live DJ sets to choose from.

iCracked bar (5 August)

UPDATE: The organiser of the iCracked bar has postponed the event until 13 August due to the planned Tube strike

iCracked's activation will target accident-prone Londoners

Next Wednesday will see smartphone and tablet repair service iCracked open what it claims will be the world’s safest bar, in Covent Garden. The activation will be open for one day only from 6-10pm. Guests who visit with a broken phone can win the chance to have their appliance fixed on the spot for free.
