
London bar Barrio Soho has teamed up with Mexican spirit Herradura Tequila to host a chilli and tequila tasting event next Monday. Each £15 ticket includes a welcome cocktail, three tequila-based cocktails and three chilli-based canapés. The night will begin with a talk from chilli expert Heath McDonald about three different varieties of chilli, each designed to complement the three tequila cocktails on offer.

Next week outdoor clothing brand Patagonia will be offering Londoners a chance to have their garments, regardless of brand, repaired for free. Their expert team and industrial-grade Juki sewing machines can repair up to 20 items a day, from missing buttons and tears to broken zips. Food and drink will also be served at the pop-up, which is part of a 50-stop tour for the brand.

Audiobook publisher Audible has partnered with Cityreads to create an installation at Foyles’ Soho gallery. Focusing on the novel Ten Days, a political thriller by Gilian Slovo, a mock police control centre will allow visitors to view evidence and unlock audio from different crime scenes in the first 72 hours of the book. They can also leave messages on wooden boards in the community area, which was inspired by the 2011 London riots.
