Three experiential events to watch next week

Next Wednesday (21 October) the Empire Cinema in London’s Leicester Square will be transformed into a Back to the Future II experience for Future Day – the date Marty McFly travels to in the film. Lucky ticket holders will be treated to a screening of the movie, with the space also featuring a replica of the Café ‘80s scene, which featured a futuristic Pepsi dispensing machine.

Following the English exit from the Rugby World Cup, O2 has handed over control of its Twitter-powered projection from fans of England Rugby, to those supporting any nation in the world cup tournament. Until the end of the month, fans will be able to tweet their messages of support, with lucky tweeters seeing their message displayed on the roof of The O2 and receiving a personalised image of their tweet lit up on the venue.

Each restaurant has devised a special menu using the beer as inspiration

Premium Belgium beer brand Affligem will be continuing its ‘Society of Master Craftsmen’ dining experiences as part of the London Restaurant Festival. Next will see the experience, which pairs the beer with three different courses, travel to The Woodman in Highgate and Pigs Ears in Chelsea on 20 October, and The Talbot, Brockley on 21 October.
