As part of Three’s ‘Mums on the Go’ campaign the mobile network’s social media team will be organising meetings with "mummy bloggers", who they hope will help them come up with ideas for time-saving mobile apps.
Three is working with celebrity mum and TV presenter Denise Van Outen and NCT members on the wider campaign, which aims to promote research from Three, which reveals parents can save 135 hours a year by using the internet while out and about.
The app ideas will be put to a public vote on Three’s Facebook page. The winning app will be designed and made by Ubinow and launched by the agency in partnership with Three and its network of "mummy bloggers" later this year.
Ubinow was appointed to the campaign after a competitive pitch against undisclosed agencies. Sarah Bolwell, social media manager, Three, said: "Ubinow won this project thanks to their creative, design and production capabilities."
Three’s retained agencies include Targetbase Claydon Heeley for integrated services, Wieden+Kennedy for creative and Mindshare for media.
In January this year Bardega announced he was leaving MediaCom to setup Ubinow as managing director. The next day MediaCom revealed it had arranged for Stefan Bardega to stay at MediaCom on a part time basis.
