Thinkbox airs prize shortlist

LONDON - Thinkbox has unveiled the shortlist of entrants for its TV Planning Awards, in association with Media Week and ±±¾©Èü³µpk10, with OMD and MediaCom shortlisted three and four times respectively.

OMD UK was shortlisted twice in the award for best use of TV in an integrated campaign, one for a Citroën campaign and one for a McDonald's brief.

Among MediaCom's shortlisted entries is its "Breathe Right" campaign for GSK, entered in the best use of sponsorship or content category.

The awards, which recognise innovative uses of television planning, will be presented on 3 June in Central London.

The judges include creative, advertising, broadcasting and media agency experts and include Sara Bennison, director of marketing and communications at Barclays; Steve Hobbs, deputy managing director of Carat; and Mike Parker, head of strategic sales and commercial marketing at Channel 4.
