Territorial Army returns to TV advertising

The Territorial Army returns to TV advertising after a two-year absence with a 拢1.5m campaign to highlight the adventure and challenge of a stint with the reservists. The campaign uses two executions, 'Football Pitch' and 'Valhalla', to tell the 16- to 30-year-old target market that they 'need the TA'. The first spot shows an enthusiastic footballer arriving on the pitch ahead of his team-mates, and then managing a group of TA soldiers on a military exercise. The TV campaign, which is Publicis' first work for the Army since it picked up the 拢7m account in December, will be supported by national and regional print executions and online activity. Media buying is by MediaVest. New recruitment ads for the Army are scheduled to break in the autumn.
