Tequila appoints creative director after Moore's exit

LONDON – Tequila\London has promoted Nick Schanche to creative director, following the departure of Sean Moore in January.

Moore left the company to spend more time with his family and work as a creative consultant. Schanche has been acting creative director since then.

In his new role, Schanche will be responsible for the creative direction of Tequila\London, overseeing eight creative teams for the agency's major clients including HP, O2, The Army, The One Account, Barclays and Barclaycard.

Tequila\London has recently seen a restructure of its management team

including the addition of Gina Larter and Ian Thomas as managing partners and the appointment of Tim Bonnet as chief executive from managing director in January.

Part of Schanche's remit will be to work closely with the newly structured team on all issues affecting the business.

Prior to joining Tequila, Schanche has worked at Wunderman Worldwide. He has also worked as creative director of Riggs Advertising, where he won a Creative Circle Award for regional press advertising.

According to Bonnet: "Nick has proven his ability to be a tremendous creative talent and leader. His knowledge of the agency brand, combined with his consistent delivery of fresh creative thinking to our clients will have a great impact on the overall success of Tequila\London."
