Telegraph moves to boost summer sales in France

LONDON - Telegraph Media Group (TMG) is to print and distribute same-day copies of The Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph in one of France's biggest cities.

The group will distribute the papers in Nantes up until September this year, as it looks to exploit the significant number of British holidaymakers, business travellers and expatriates spending their summer in the Brittany region.

TMG said it is anticipating sales of around 5,000 copies a day in peak summer.

Tracey Coyne, circulation director for TMG, said: "We are continually looking for ways to extend our distribution in key overseas markets, and this is a response to demand for daily access to our quality content, from the newspaper's loyal readership."
