The company has been renamed Telegraph Events following the acquisition of VOS Media in February 2013. The company will resume as normal, organising such events as The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Shows London and North, The Telegraph Cruise Shows London and Liverpool, Be:Fit London, SalonQP, The London Bike Show and The Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show.
The company has also announced today (18 August) that the Triathlon Plus Show will rebrand to become the Triathlon Show: London.
In addition to the company rebrand, two new divisions will be launched within TMG Telegraph Events in 2015. This includes Telegraph Business, which will become the conference and exhibition arm of TMG, and Telegraph Bespoke, a division which will create exclusive and unique experiences for The Telegraph’s audience. These events will bring readers’ interests to life, set in iconic venues throughout the UK and hosted by columnists and experts.
The launch of the two new divisions will be overseen by Alex Foster, who joined TMG as divisional director in May. She previously worked at UBM where she was managing director of virtual events, and previously, commercial director since 2011.
Dave King, executive director at TMG, said: "I am delighted with the success of the acquisition and the event expertise that VOS has bought to TMG. The imminent launch of Telegraph Bespoke and Telegraph Business Events is yet another natural extension for our brand, driving new revenue streams, which will continue to bring greater value to a growing Telegraph audience with both a consumer and trade focus."
Damian Norman, managing director of Telegraph Events, added: "The past 18 months as part of TMG have been very successful and testament to why we were so keen to join The Telegraph portfolio.
"We have already secured a number of launch events for 2015 and look forward to continuing this success with our newly launched divisions, attracting both new Telegraph readers as well as strong new business revenues."
