Telegraph extends Five deal to cover cricket site

Five is launching a website to back its cricket highlights, extending a broadcast sponsorship deal with the Telegraph Group onto the web.

The link-up will give cricket fans the chance to have a ranting Geoffrey Boycott - a Daily Telegraph columnist - delivered to their desktop this summer.
The Desktop Boycott alert, a computer generated miniature version of the Yorkshire legend, is part of a website being launched by Five following its four-year broadcast sponsorship deal with the Telegraph.
The website, , will feature live scores, ongoing match coverage, reports and a cricket talk forum, as well as special features on England's upcoming nPower Test Series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, and the the NatWest series.
The Telegraph has licensed bespoke daily content for the website, with editorial from the presentation team consisting of Boycott, Mark Nicholas and Simon Hughes.
Fans will be able to download a free daily video podcast from top analyst Hughes.
