The agency won the account in a competitive pitch against Publicis and Euro RSCG.

TBWA was awarded the work in partnership with its specialist shopper-marketing network, Integer Paris. The agencies will be responsible for boosting Campo Viejo's brand awareness outside its home country.

Advertising will focus on priority markets such as the UK and the US, and will run across TV, print, digital, retail and brand experience.

TBWA currently works with Pernod Ricard on brands including Absolut, Jameson, Martell, Kahlua, Royal Salute and Griffigna wines.

In a separate move, Pernod Ricard is reviewing the creative duties across its portfolio of vodka brands, excluding Absolut. These include the Polish spirits Wyborowa and Luksusowa. The review is being handled out of the company's Swedish headquarters.
