TBWA\London plots integrated offering

TBWA\London is looking to bolster its integrated credentials and is in advanced talks with its sister agencies Tequila\ and Agency.com about working together on a single integrated offer.

Although the plans will fall short of a full merger, the three agencies are expected to present themselves as a one-stop agency, able to handle any client's needs, whatever the discipline.

The move would tap into current demand for integrated agencies. Both Tequila\ and TBWA\ have suffered slow years; TBWA\ has yet to make up lost billings from 2005 while Tequila\ has lost the lion's share of its Pru Health business as well as it News Group newspapers account.

Paul Bainsfair, the chairman of TBWA\UK Group, said: "In common with most other communications groups, we are always looking at ways in which we can better service our clients and integrate our offering across different agency disciplines. However, we are not planning to bring all three companies under one roof or change the independent status of the companies."
