TBG in line for Ladbrokes brief

LONDON - Ladbrokes is set to award its online display and paid search account, estimated at £3.5m, to digital agency TBG London.

TBG in line for Ladbrokes brief

The gambling firm has opted to pull its online spend from Aegis agency Vizeum and hand it to the independent digital agency, having worked on some trial projects with TBG over the last few months. Aegis digital agency Diffiniti used to handle the account before it transferred to sister agency Vizeum.

TBG will work across Ladbrokes bingo, casino, poker and sports offerings as the gambling firm attempts to drive punters to its online properties by running simultaneous TV and online ads.

Walker Media runs some of Ladbrokes offline media account and is unaffected by the review, as is lead creative agency M&C Saatchi and digital creative agency Steel.

Ladbrokes appointed Walker Media to handle its media planning and TV buying in October 2007 after the agency planned and bought its first TV campaigns. Pure Media handles Ladbrokes’ press buying.
