USwitch is planning a number of new promotionally slanted additions to the site offer. These include incentives such as free wine for people who take up quotes. It is also trialling email alerts for people looking for a specific deal.

Tattersall's promotion means he was marketing director for just weeks, having previously headed up product development. He replaced marketing director Barry Holloway, who was behind the gospel choir brand campaign.
