Tanqueray stages treehouse drinking experience

Tanqueray Ten, the premium gin brand owned by Diageo, has partnered with Oblix East restaurant in the Shard to create an immersive treehouse and gin-themed activation.

Guests can access the space on Level 32 of the Shard via a roped walkway filled with the scent of oranges, before entering a wooded forest.

The venue has been adorned with an installation featuring a collection of tree trunks, illuminated by flickering tea lights and green lanterns fashioned out of Tanqueray bottles, while botanical scents have been infused into the air.

Guests are being encouraged to use a telescope to peer up at the night sky or spy on the city below. Oblix East is also serving a curated cocktail menu that draws inspiration from the treehouse and the citrus botanicals of Tanqueray Ten.

The treehouse, which launched on 20 November, will be in place until 27 December.
