Tanqueray quits W&K Amsterdam

Clive Tanqueray, the account director on the Nike business at Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam, is leaving the agency after 18 months.

Tanqueray resigned in November and he has been overseeing the handover to his replacement, Patricia Cerda, since the start of this year. He will leave W&K within the next couple of months and is looking to return to London.

Before he moved to Amsterdam, Tanqueray was the client services director at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO.

Cerda is taking over Tanqueray's role having previously worked at Young & Rubicam. Her most recent position was at the network's Amsterdam office, where she managed the Schweppes global business. She has also worked in Madrid on Y&R's Diageo, Telefonica and Mini Babybel accounts.

Last week, David Miller, the managing director of W&K's Amsterdam office, left the agency abruptly. The agency is currently looking for someone to replace him.

Tanqueray said: "I've had a fantastic few years at Wieden & Kennedy in Amsterdam, working on Nike, but all good things come to an end. I'm looking forward to returning to London in September to work on my next challenge."
