TalkTalk launches 'ring side' social video for Mayweather v Pacquiao fight

TalkTalk, the telecoms and internet provider, has launched a video on social media to promote the fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao, which takes place this weekend in Las Vegas.

The ad, called "no more talk", features boxing experts and fans who share their predictions for who will win the $300 million encounter between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao on Sunday morning (GMT).

The content is designed to convey the message that TalkTalk brings high quality, high value sport to its customers’ homes.

The video is intended to be optimal for users of Facebook, which automatically plays videos listed on a user’s news feed as they scroll down, by making the first five seconds attention-grabbing.

David Brady, an online marketing manager at TalkTalk, said: "#PickASide is a great mechanic to amplify the Social conversation and gives TalkTalk a ring side seat for the fight of the century."

The content strategy and video were created by AllTogetherNow, under creative director Robert Clayman and directors Chris Reed and Ben Hanson. Social activation is being handled by ArtScience.
