Tag Heuer keeps £2m ad business with TBWA BDDP

Swiss luxury watchmaker Tag Heuer has re-appointed TBWA BDDP to its

worldwide advertising account, worth £2m in the UK.

The appointment of the Paris arm of TBWA follows Jean-Marc Lacave's

arrival as managing director of Tag Heuer earlier this year.

Lacave moved from parent company Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH)

where he was head of marketing for champagne brand Pommery.

The pitch was overseen by Tag Heuer international marketing director

Pascal O'Neill.

LVMH bought Tag Heuer in 1999 for £485m and the brand is now part

of the company's watches and jewellery division.

Tag Heuer worked with TBWA for seven years before appointing Bartle

Bogle Hegarty (BBH) in 1997.

The fashion brand split with BBH last year and handed the business back

to TBWA before calling a review in August.

TBWA pitched against Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper, Y&R, Lolita Italia, Swiss

agency Simko and Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO.
