Mexican fast-food brand Taco Bell is opening a hotel and resort called The Bell, where fans can purchase clothes, get married in the "Las Vegas flagship cantina" and indulge in pampering services, all with a Taco Bell theme.

Guest rooms, breakfast and poolside cocktails will pay homage to the brand, while exclusive menu items will also be served.

The Yum! Brands-owned business will be taking over a resort in Palm Springs, California, offering stays from August. The brand has teamed up with fashion retailer Forever 21 to produce clothes with Taco Bell logo and imagery, available from an on-site gift shop, while guests can also try out Taco Bell-inspired nail art and a braid bar.

Taco Bell’s chief global brand officer, Marisa Thalberg, said: "The Bell stands to be the biggest expression of the Taco Bell lifestyle to date. It will be fun, colorful, flavorful and filled with more than what our fans might expect, Also, just like some of our most sought-after food innovation, this hotel brings something entirely new for lucky fans to experience and enjoy."

Reservations are being taken from June, with the hotel officially opening on 9 August for a limited time.
