Survivors drops to 4.6m viewers on BBC One

LONDON - BBC One's post-apocalyptic drama 'Survivors' has dropped 700,000 viewers from last week to 4.6m and was beaten by ITV1's 'I'm a Celebrity', which pulled in 7.4m, according to unofficial overnight figures.

The third part of 'Survivors', starring Paterson Joseph and Max Beesley, attracted 4.6m viewers and an 18.1% share of the 9-10pm audience on BBC One. This was down 700,000 viewers on its second episode and well below the 6.5m who tuned in for its debut.

ITV1's 'I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!' won the primetime slot again with 7.4m viewers tuning in to see glamour model Nicola McLean become the seventh contestant to be booted out of the jungle.

The show, which also featured former EastEnder Joe Swash climbing a high tower to win meals for the camp, attracted a 29.3% share of the 8.30pm to 10pm audience.

Channel 4's documentary 'The Queen's Coronation: Behind Palace Doors', uncovering the tensions and conflict between the Queen Mother and Prince Philip in the build-up to Princess Elizabeth's coronation in 1953, drew 2.5m viewers and a 9.8% share of the 9-10pm audience. Including Channel 4+1 it reached 2.7m viewers.

'CSI Miami' pulled in 1.9m viewers and a 7.5% share in the same slot on Five, beating BBC Two's 'Horizon: Do you know what time it is?' documentary, which attracted 1.6m viewers and a 6.1% share.
