The Sunday Times "Rich List" by Grey London

The Sunday Times is promoting its forthcoming Rich List supplement with a literal take on celebrity fat cats. Grey London, working as part of WPP’s Team News, created the campaign. The print executions depict Sir Elton John, Simon Cowell and Sir Richard Branson as chubby-looking cats. Props include spectacles and an earring for John, Cowell’s trademark hairstyle and an aeroplane collar for Branson. The Rich List is published on 18 May and will, for the first time, take over the entire edition of The Sunday Times Magazine. The work was written by Jo Sissons and Kate Allsop, and art directed by Miguel Gonzalez. The animal photographer Tim Flach shot the images, which were altered by Antony Crossfield.
