Sunday Times Motor Show Live returns to TV advertising

The Sunday Times Motor Show Live is returning to TV advertising after six years as part of a £1m campaign to broaden the event's appeal and increase ticket sales. The 30-second DRTV ad features the voice of car critic and Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson and highlights the interactive features of the new format, which includes a custom-built 4x4 course that visitors can drive on and a live action arena.

The ad will communicate the date of the show - which has moved from October to May - and encourage viewers to book tickets via a hotline. Press and poster ads will support the TV work. A web site is also being launched this month (www.motorshow live.com). Creative is by Blend, with media planned and bought by Carat.
