STOP PRESS: ASA upholds complaints

The Advertising Standards Authority has upheld 35 complaints that a Calvin Klein Cosmetics ad depicting a man and woman naked from the waist up was too sexually explicit for a poster execution. It also rapped Beverage Brands UK for a press ad for WKD. It showed a man naked except for an open raincoat and a hat, with a bottle of the alcopop superimposed over his crotch. The ASA agreed with six complaints that it was pornographic and offensive.
