Stella-backed web film show comes to Film4

Channel4 has commissioned its online film preview show, Movie Rush, for broadcast on the newly free-to-view Film4 channel.

The broadcaster says it is the first time an online show has been re-commissioned by a major TV company for broadcast on television.
Channel4 New Media, working with Film4, has commissioned content production agency Zone to produce a TV version of the show, which features no presenters, with the first full-length Movie Rush to be screened on Film4 on Saturday 12 August between The Trouble With Harry and My Neighbour Totoro. Movie Rush will then be broadcast regularly on Film4 between scheduled films.
The show will be premiered online 24 hours before its Film4 broadcast and, in the future, will also be available on Channel 4's mobile TV channel and as a vodcast on iTunes.
Movie Rush launched in February and is sponsored by Stella, one of the brands supporting Film4.
