Start Creative has hired James Kydd, former Virgin Media managing director of brand and marketing, as a non-executive director. He will act as a consultant for the agency, with an emphasis on its media and telecoms clients. Kydd, who led the creation of the Virgin Media brand, left the company in August 2008.
