
Dominic West, who plays the one of the show's lead characters, Jimmy McNulty, is to make an appearance at the event on 30 June at popular event space Shoreditch House .
Don't Panic director Joe Wade came up with the idea of The Wire Quiz. The hard hitting police drama has a cult following and addresses some issues in line with the aims of Tom's Trust. Don't Panic is hosting the event on a pro bono basis and all proceeds will go to the Trust.
The Independent, Guardian, Daily Mail and Heat Magazine are among the companies that have all booked tables, while Event magazine will also be attending.
Tom's Trust aims to tackle and prevent the root causes of violent gang culture and street crime through educational programmes and other charitable means.
The trust was created following the tragic death of 31-year-old lawyer Tom ap Rhys Pryce, who was robbed and killed on 12 January 2006 as he walked home from Kensal Green underground station to the home he shared with his fiancée, Adele Eastman.
