The first execution in the series, created by Leagas Delaney which breaks this week, features a woman preparing for her local Stannah Engineer to service her husband's stairlift. To the bemusement of her husband, his wife has baked an array of cakes in anticipation of the engineer's arrival.

Another spot shows the husband jokingly mimicking a tour guide explaining the layout of their home as he uses the stairlift.

The press ads complement the TV commercials by highlighting Stannah's products and services through the experiences of the customers.

Shelley Cole, Stannah Stairlifts marketing manager, said: ‘Stannah is still very much a family company, and we feel these new TV spots and press ads bring to life our caring values that are so integral to who we are.'

Elliot Moss, Leagas Delaney managing director, added: ‘We believe that highlighting the issues concerning the elderly and showcasing Stannah's core values in a warm and humorous way, is the most compelling way to help people reconsider how they feel about stairlifts.'
