
The Standard’s circulation fell by 0.19% in November to 291,991, from 292,544 the previous month. October had seen a 0.48% rise on September’s figures.
Despite the title’s marketing push and a new Eros loyalty card scheme, the Standard did not manage to sustain its October increase. The paper’s average circulation for June to November was 284,083, down year-on-year from 294,970.
Among the freesheets, thelondonpaper managed a second successive month of growth, with distribution up a very slight 0.06% to 495,950. London Lite fell again, down 0.12% for the month to 400,513. Associated Press said that the title had been “hitting the 400,000 target consistently”.
After a strong October lift, Metro London’s distribution dipped in November by 0.11% to 745,942. City AM held reasonably level at 100,486, a 0.09% decline for the month.
Overall, Metro UK’s distribution fell by 0.05% to 1,358,270 for November. But it increased its average distribution for June to November to 1,211,087, up by 8.58% year on year.
