Stageco transformed the Grand Palais in Paris into a fairytale village, complete with a 30-metre-high replica of the Eiffel Tower, for 2,350 guests.

A 12-metre-high model of the Arc de Triomphe was mechanically engineered to allow the arch to split into two pieces during the show.

"The real challenge was the load in and out of the venue, for both access and time," said Stageco project co-ordinator Manolis Kassanis.

"The six truckloads of equipment had to be built in three days, and we dismantled in 11 hours instead of 21 hours as originally planned."
