SRH wins digital licence battle

LONDON - Scottish Radio Holdings has won the digital radio licence for Dundee and Perth, the Radio Authority announced today.

It gives the company access to a potential audience of around 430,000 adults.

Score Digital, a subsidiary of SRH, will run the services, and expects to begin broadcasting within six months. It is proposing seven commercial stations on the multiplex licence, most of which are music-based.
