Comic Relief gears up for this year's sporting fundraiser with a superhuman spot.
The ad begins as a woman called Linda steps onto a treadmill. "This may just look like a lady in a gym," a narrator begins, "but Linda is running for Sport Relief". Declaring it’s "game on" for this year’s festivities, Linda finds herself outrunning horses, cars and Dina Asher-Smith (the fastest British woman in recorded history).
Alongside a trip through the universe and an eight-bit gaming element, the ad's protagonist defeats poverty, homelessness, injustice, mental health stigma and child poverty – all issues tackled by Sport Relief.
The campaign has launched across TV, cinema, digital, social, out-of-home and partnerships, ahead of Sport Relief on 13 March. It was created by Amy Fasey and Jacob Hellstrom, and directed by Molly Manners through Biscuit Filmworks.
This is Pablo's first work for Sport Relief since winning the account in November.
