Organiser Brand Events has signed up a host of sponsors for its planned Weekend at Dave’s show. Online poker room Party Poker, WKD, Sony Ericsson and Foster’s lager have come on board as headline supporters for a range of feature areas at the Excel event, due to take place from 23-25 September. Weekend at Dave’s will revolve around a fictional 20-something called Dave who has won £23m on the lottery and treats his mates to a party that a typical British male would enjoy (Event April). Party Poker is headline sponsor for a planned Las Vegas-themed casino and WKD will support a football feature. Both Sony Ericsson and Foster’s have aligned themselves to city-based feature areas focused on New York and Sydney.
