The ad is the first of two featuring the Spice Girls and is expected to air during ITV1 'Coronation Street' on November 12, the same day that the group's 'Greatest Hits' album is released.
The girls, who are soon to start a comeback tour, are being paid £1m each to appear in the supermarket's ads.
The first ad shows them enjoying Christmas at one of the girl's homes and aims to give a glimpse into what the festive season would be like with the Spice Girls.
It pokes fun at the girl group with Ginger wanting turkey while all the others want beef or goose or, in Posh's case, lobster. Naturally.
In the second ad they go shopping for presents at the same time, but have to keep hiding to avoid been spotted.
Lance Butler, UK marketing director at Tesco, said: "We feel that the new commercials really emphasise Tesco's commitment to offer something different and exciting this Christmas."
A spokesperson from 19 Entertainment, which represents the Spice Girls said that the Tesco ad campaign was one of a number the group had received since they started their reunion activity.
A spokesperson said: "Since the announcement of their reunion this summer we've had a number of major brands and corporations approach us to work with the girls. We're delighted to have concluded a deal with Tesco."
Tesco has used a number of celebrities in its ads in the past including Martin Clunes, John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg and Martine McCutcheon.
