Specsavers "Boiler" by Specsavers Creative

Specsavers is trying to keep up its marketing momentum in the absence of John Cleese's Basil Fawlty character, the popular star of last year's spot.

This time, the brand takes its long-running "Should’ve" campaign to a French chateau, where a visually impaired repairman shows up to fix a faulty boiler – with disastrous results for the owner’s prized wine. The ad, created in-house, was written by Richard James, art director by Naomi Bishop and directed by Daniel Kleinman through Rattling Stick.
